A group of American college students from four major U.S. universities, including the University of Maryland, have been studying Arabic in Alexandria, Egypt for several months. They returned safely to the states today.
Many of them had planned to stay longer, but as the unrest grew more volatile in the country, the American Council on International Education decided to pull them out.
