Rabab Abdulhadi's Controversial Ties to Two Palestinian Universities
This week at UC Irvine, San Francisco State University Professor Rabab Abdulhadi and some of her little protegees from the San Francisco State University General Union of Palestinian Students were scheduled to appear at UC Irvine's Chrystal Cove Auditorium as part of a panel to discuss the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Mysteriously they failed to appear either in person or via Skype. I suspect, Abdulhadi was reluctant to answer hard questions or be videotaped by Yours Truly. Maybe she was actually appearing at some other location on campus.
Given this latest report from Cinnamon Stillwell of Campus Watch, here is another issue that perhaps Ms Abdulhadi did not want to address.
This week, I sent an open letter to Ms Abdulhadi asking why she had failed to materialize at the Chrystal Cove Auditorium. Of course, I have as yet failed to receive a reply.
But I will check my mailbox every day.Note: Articles listed under "Middle East studies in the News" provide information on current developments concerning Middle East studies on North American campuses.
