(IsraelNN.com) Columbia University Professor Joseph Massad has published an essay arguing that the Intifada was an expression of good will towards Israeli Jews. The professor in Middle East studies wrote that Arabs are fighting against anti-Semitism which Israel represents.
He claims it is ironic that Zionism "transformed those who remained inside Israel into foreigners in their own land" and subjected them to the same kind of anti-Semitism European Jews suffered. Prof. Massad explained that European anti-Semitism was the source for Zionism.
Massad is one of a number of anti-israel lecturers portrayed as bullying pro-Israel students in the documentary "Columbia Unbecoming".
