As Carolina students continue to learn about Islamic issues, a new website is adding the University to its 'watchlist.'
The site, www.campus-watch.org, was created by a pro-Israel think tank called Middle East Forum. The group examines the way professors teach about Middle East issues on campuses across the country.
Forum director Daniel Pipes first criticized UNC-CH because of its summer reading selection, Approaching the Qu'ran. Now, Pipes is keeping tabs on how Carolina handles Middle East issues and is putting updates online.
Other schools on the site's watchlist include Harvard, Stanford and New York University.
