Middle East studies in the NewsAlmstaking [on "Alms for Jihad," Cambridge University Press]

Thankfully, the American Library Association is encouraging its members not to cooperate with a CUP request that libraries return copies of the book they've purchased. In some cases, universities are now placing the book in their special collections—to guarantee that it doesn't disappear from their shelves and remains available to scholars.
