Statement on Daniel Pipes' lecture

Given York University's ongoing concern for the safety and security of our students, faculty and staff, the speaking engagement scheduled for January 28^th by Daniel Pipes will be transferred from the proposed venue in the Student Centre to another venue to be decided. In keeping with York's long tradition of free and respectful dialogue, the University will look for an appropriate venue where this event can be safely staged.
