Middle East studies in the NewsFirst Day for New MSU Faculty
KFYR-TV http://www.kfyrtv.com/News_Stories.asp?news=33379 http://www.campus-watch.org/article/id/8165 As Minot State University students make their way to their classes for the first time, some professors on campus are doing the same thing. This year, Minot State University has 11 new faculty members on campus. John Morrow is new to Minot State but not new to teaching. He has been a teacher for 15 years and this year is teaching three classes at MSU. We caught up with him in his Spanish class but Morrow speaks English, French and Arabic as well. Morrow will lead the way as the MSU adds an Arabic major. "I am very excited to be here. I have a lot of experience building up language programs. So there is a lot of work to be done here so I am excited. It is a beautiful campus, and there are some nice students here," says Morrow. Morrow has taught at four other Universities, most recently at Easters New Mexico University.
