Classes resumed Monday at the Science One building at Binghamton University.
The building closed Friday after 77-year-old Professor, Richard Antoun was stabbed by Abdulsalam Alzahrani, a graduate student.
Students say some professors opened their classes Monday by discussing the incident.
A dialogue that put the stabbing in perspective for many who live on the quiet college campus.
"Even though it's not officially the real world, we're kind of contained in the college atmosphere, but this brings a reality to the campus in that these kind of things can happen anywhere," said Daniel Richmond, B.U. Student.
At ten, we'll tell you how staff at the university are trying to help students and each other cope with the tragedy.
