Anthropology emeritus professor Richard Antoun was fatally stabbed in the Science 1 building last December. His accused assailant, 45 year old Abdulsalam Al-Zahrani, plead not guilty to second degree murder earlier this month in Broome County Court. The college is planning to celebrate Antoun's life and career Friday, February 26th. It will focus on Antoun's travels around the world to gain an understanding of diverse cultures, and the professor's passion for peace and guidance to students in their education. Again the celebration is Friday, February 26th. It runs from 1 to 2:30 pm in the Anderson Center Chamber Hall on campus.
