The Chronicle of Higher Education has compiled a list of sexual harassment and assault allegations in academe since the Harvey Weinstein scandal broke, including the charges against Islam scholar Tariq Ramadan. But as Campus Watch reported in 2016 and again in October, Middle East studies academics have long been embroiled in such allegations. UCLA's Gabriel Piterberg, UC Berkeley's Nezar AlSayyad, and an as-of-yet unnamed professor in McGill University's Institute of Islamic Studies come to mind.
