Campus Watch Responds:

Writing in the Guardian, blogger Richard Silverstein makes unfounded charges of bigotry against Campus Watch and other organizations.

Siverstein charges that CW is anti-Arab:

Prominent American Jewish leaders parrot the questionable charges in order to portray Israel as a victim of Arab incitement. A series of anti-Arab groups like MEMRI, CAMERA, Palestine Media Watch Debka Files, Campus Watch, the Israel Project, and the David Project have made a cottage industry out of cataloguing so-called anti-Israel incitement.

This charge is as absurd as it is morally reprehensible: Campus Watch is not now, nor has it ever been, anti-Arab. We critique professors of Middle East studies regardless of their ethnicity, nationality, or religion. Charges of racism directed at CW are mere substitutions for substantive critiques of our own work, which we stand behind.
